things have changed a lot since that photo...

the big monster at 0:20 in the TV spot is reminiscent of the siege breaker. im betting him and "thousand pounder," the other "fake" boss from the early promo videos make an appearance somewhere.

TV spot was awesome though. there's been rumours going around that diablo is a girl this time around and this ad seems to be leaning that way. 15 days left :slayer:

i would rather see that than some prototype-esque garbage overlaid with johnny cash covering nin. that is a terrible ad.

i think it probably has to do with the fact that d3 is PC/mac only. if you have a pc and are anywhere remotely interested in PC gaming, you already know about d3; no need to convert the masses of cod kiddies to play your sweet new game.

RE: prototype johnny cash ad: It really pisses me off that game ads nowadays never show actual gameplay footage. Seriously FFS :fu:

I had never heard of prototype somehow, and I shouldn't have to go search the internet for gameplay to find out what the hell the game is imho.

I know nothing about WoW but how does Blizzard get away with charging a monthly fee for that game? How come it doesn't try to do that for other games?

because it is an MMO that requires constant ongoing development outside of paid expansions and a huge support staff. There is no "offline solo" component to an MMO like other games.

Second tv spot is seriously
icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif
.

I think it's Imperius fighting Diablo first, and then Tyrael.
