What are people's thoughts on the idea for this new Showtime series? The serial killer as a character the audience wants to root for? Lovable mafia kingpins aren't enough? What am I missing?

I watched the first one, and that was enough for me. It's OK, but I'd rather watch other shows.

I watched the pilot, as well. It didn't grab me. Perhaps I'll try another episode. It's certainly an interesting idea (it beats another sitcom with an ordinary looking, slightly overweight, slightly dumb husband and his incredibly attractive, long-suffering wife). I don't know how sustainable it is, however.
