Well, although I pick up Wallpaper just because I like to stay current on such things, I really, really, don't care about my apartment.  It is a place to eat takeout, watch t.v., and sleep, is all.  Unlike, for example, my clothing, I stake none of my identity in it.  Given unlimited resources, my place would be like Globetrotter's, minus most of the decorations. And maybe I'd put in an in-home theater because my father always wanted one; and it'd be nice to have for his visits.  Maybe a fooseball and pool table too, while I'm at it.  For my brothers.  Otherwise, I personally couldn't care less.  

Food for thought, I'm sure lots of guys (none on this forum though) have the same attitude about their clothes.

Personally I have a significant interest in interior design, and I think most guys are somewhat interested, i.e. if they had a house and resources to do so, they'd have a vision of what they wanted, but after that, they're not particularly interested in changing it or revamping it...
