1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I know some older cars had rather vague shift gates, but it seems shifting into a lower gear in error is an odd incident in a modern car.

I had a bit of a bumper incident with my car (¼ inch dent, and it costs $420 to fix!), and the body shop I took it to specializes in Ferrari's and Maserati's and you should see some of the cars they had in their shop: F430's ripped in half, an F50 with the front end now mimicking an accordion, etc...

I think I'd get a perverse thrill from wrecking a Deusenberg. They are loud, unsubtle things.

Auburn Cord Duesenberg's creations were always for people with more flash than taste.

I'll tell you, there is a certain sad humor in walking down Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai and seeing an enormously-rich Arab pull up next to you at a red light, in a gold-coloured Duesenburg [IMG]

You sure it's a Deusenberg and not an Excaliber? [IMG]

No, it was an actual Duesenberg. The complete idiocy of some people is astounding. God, I hope I was seeing things and it was an Excalibur.
