Hi everyone,

Just joined the forum, in desperate need of help. I'm 16 going on 17 and live in the North of England. I'm sick and tired of the hair I have at the moment, it's not getting me anywhere and I need to change it.

At the moment I get it cut at a barber shop. I generally go for a standard 5 on top, 2 on the back and sides.. Cut with Scissors.. My hair is very thick and bushy, and in places extremely frizzy. I usually gel it by letting the curls join together through the gel, and end up having the top of my head covered in small curls, and the sides and back gelled down. This usually takes a long time and I can not be bothered to continue with it.

I'm looking for a new style which allows me to be more comfortable with myself, and hopefully improve my general appearance.. Has anyone got any recommended styles? Remember my hair is very thick and does not flatten easily at all, even with a lot of water.

There are some pictures attached to help you lot out.. Please get back to me ASAP.

Thanks in Advance.
