Designing a casual linen shirt

I plan to order a casual linen shirt from MyTailor. The shirt pictured below is from a previous order and what I will use as a design reference.

Based on a previous SF critique of my shirt, I plan to modify the following:
- Shoulders slightly narrower (0.5 in)
- Narrower waist (0.5 in to 1 in)
- No pocket
- Armhole a bit higher
- Sleeve circumference a bit smaller

Since I will only wear this shirt in casual setting my research (and preferences) suggest the following:
- Length to middle of trouser zipper for wearing untucked
- Square hem on bottom
- Splits on bottom of side seams (if possible)
- Soft floppy collar with a shorter height than a dress shirt
- Short sleeves (it will only be for casual wear!)
- Either plain or placard front

You are required to order two of the same style shirts. One will be white, cream, or ivory. I'm still deciding on the other color, but based how it looks in this thread I'm leaning towards black (or maybe gray): http://www.styleforum.net/showthread...ighlight=linen

Any comments, suggestions, or criticisms concerning this plan? Color suggestions are especially desired for the 2nd shirt.

When I asked about linen shirts a while back every body seemed to suggest not going for a tight/slim fit.

Why black on a linen shirt? Isn't the point to stay cool ? I'd go for a lighter colour.

You deffinatley wan to go with lighter colors on a linen shirt also you don't want it to be so fitted since they are known to shrink some it might not fit after a few washings.
