1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

YES! I am convinced. The world really would be a better, safer place if everybody carried guns everywhere they went.

Thanks guys! It's been a good thread.

How many people who own pit bulls are not serious criminals? About one percent?

The problem is the following: It is a lot easier to murder people with firearms than with shovels...

Yah! Right! As though you have experience to speak....

And the same rate is 0.12% in England &Wales...

What was it like before people lost their freedom in England with guns?

My opinion is it is that gun crimes are a cultural problem with those persons. The rest of us shouldn't be penalized because of a few cracks. It is sorry that England has let the diseased minded run England instead of sending those who need a shrink to shrinks and leave them in prison until they understand that other people have rights, too. Those who use violence against the rest of us are a problem with or without guns. Guns are a real problem in the US some places (small areas). Taking guns away is defeat and trying to put a bandaid on a much larger problem. Taking guns away is looking the other way instead of fixing the real problems.

I don't need a gun to defend myself and you do...

Who is the clever one living in fear?
