I read that most antiperspirants will stain your shirt faster because the soap can not penetrate the cloth wear the antiperspirant is caked on. Speaking from experience I tend to think this is true. So right now I use a bar of sea salt, sea salt kills bacteria so I usually don't smell too funky and it doesn't leave any stains... plus it helps me avoid that whole aluminum dilemma

For everyone who uses crystal deodorant, would you recommend spray or roll-on? I recently saw it at Walgreens and there was a spray and also a roll-on (ball not stick). Didn't know which would be better?

I use the rock/roll-on. The spray stuff feels sticky at first, but when it dries off isn't so bad. The only thing about using the roll-on is that it really only worked on me when I shaved my underarms.

I use the Chrystal stuff, solid and it generally works well. Sometimes it smells a bit funky but i spray it with rubbing alcohol occasionally just to kill anything on the surface. It doens't stop sweating in any way, but I can sweat all day and for the most part my shirts don't even smell close up.

I hate that scented stuff, plus no aluminum, so you won't go insane!

Weleda spray. It is clear and great--great protection and zero residue. The sage scent is refreshing and it dissipates quickly. Not available in your average Rite-Aid but available at higher end supermarkets and drug stores. Best bet probably the Net. They also make a great salt toothpaste (even if it is brown.)
