    14 oz.

edit: I remember another spot that sold denim and Red Wings. The name escapes me at the moment...OK, that didn't help at all. Sorry.

But also Firmament if you are looking for high-end streetwear denim

    Thanks for your replies.
DC4 and 14oz seem to be interesting.

DC4 has closed down, they'll reopen someplace else later this year.

I was in Berlin in March and I thought 14oz was just okay. They had a great selection of shoes but I wasn't wowed by their clothes.

14oz has extensive cabourn which is the clincher for me.

As per previous posts on same topic, check out Burg und schilde, Galeries Lafayette, KaDeWe (bit boring but sometimes they have good stawk) & Peek und Kloppenburg

That’s a shame. I’m eager to get a pair of PJB deep indigo and would have appreciated the opportunity to try them on before I buy. @Biggen: That’s a great list, thanks a lot. Will visit all the links before I go. @whodini: Certainly! Edit: I will keep an eye on the dc4 blog, hopefully they will have opened again when I am in Berlin. http://blog.dc4.de/

Thanks for all your advice. The best shops I went to are:

Burg und Schilde: Best denim store. The sales assistant was nice, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.
Trüffelschwein: Friendly store. Unfortunately many of the labels they stock are British, therefore it was not so interesting for me.
14oz: Great selection and an impressive giant fish tank with jellyfish

I was missing German heritage brands (do they exist?) or something that I would only get in Berlin.
