My Studio D'artisan 103's with a 35" pre soak inseam juuuuuuuuuuuuuuust barely look like a normal length when I am standing. Here is my problem:

Can I get the Oni Blue's (with a 36.75" inseam)
or should I pick up a pair of Samurais 38.5" inseam?

What is a regular fit samurai model with a fit similar to the Blue's or Red's?

Yeah, Onis and Sams are both goodness, but are you sure you want to be f***ing around with jeans you can never ever wash? If I were you, I'd just admit life wasn't always fair and stick with Diors and Whalls (which are first-rate jeans anyway). Just an opinion...

Yeah, I would think only Samurai is suitable (and probably cutting it close). I'm 6' and want a 34 inch inseam and a good number of the Japanese brands don't even seem to work for me.

Stretching your jeans repeatedly and aggressively after cold water washing them will keep them at pre-wash lengths.

I do this with almost all the denim I own (Sugar Cane, APC, Rogan, PDC, Kohzo). The one pair I probably won't have to do it for is my Samurai's, but I haven't got around to washing them yet.

BTW I am a bit over 6'3".

How do you stretch them anyway? just hold them down somehow and pull from the hem?

I was going to say Flat Head but then I realized that they start at tagged size.

Put the top part of the trousers on the floor, foot on the wasteband or crotch area, and pull the leg up, doing inseam, outseam, and middle. Like I said, pretty aggressive.... Be careful with more beat up, older, or cheap-ass denim as it will rip if you pull too hard.

I'm 6'5" with long legs and APC Rescues work perfect for me. I measured them and they have a 37" inseam.

PCs are sanforized so no shrinkage on the 37" inseam. Or if there is any small amount it is negligible.
