Well, i just got back from a short trip to Vegas. Altho we stayed at the Hard Rock, it was really cool to visit Fashion Show Mall and Caesars, including shopping premium denim at stores like Still (extremely helpful salespeople, and they hem a jean like no other I have ever seen-- looks PERFECT, undetectable that jeans have even been altered!!!). I took a look at Scoop NYC, and the Diesel store was a trip (REALLY cool cotton jackets for $160, and I picked up a cool red t-shirt)

At Still, I bought a pair of jeans that were so expensive, the price made me sweat. However, they fit and felt so good, the pair really put my 7 for all mankind stuff to absolute shame. great details, excellent wash, etc. So, that was my first pair of Rock and Republic jeans (later in the trip, I actually bought a second pair in a very conservative wash with mild detailing, that would look GREAT with a sportcoat and polished captoes, i think).

What's the consensus on R&R (besides the outrageous price)?

These pix don't have much to do with the jeans, but thought they might be fun to look at:

Normally I'd rib you for untucking the stripey, but it looks like you couldn't have cared less about your clothes at the moment. Which is, hm, rather understandable.

I rather prefer the brunette on the other side.

I would never wear square-toed shoes!! At the time, i had on a pair of ferragamo pebble grained laceups, with rubber soles.

if only i had worn something similar to the Ghost Bar......

Thank god! I thought that I was going to have to "turn my back" on you like you had just unneccesarily killed someone in the Kumite.

"Very good, but brick no hit back..."

I apologize. That had nothing to do with anything. I just needed to get in out of my system.
