Nom de Guerre Classic Fit dark gray denim

The NDG look much darker in that photo than in others I've seen. I like them, and the fit is great.

OK, if it is a matter of jean design, the answer is easy enough. could you point me to denim designed to be worn higher than the hips (a decidedly uncomfortable option)?

I would suggest Studio D'Artisan 101s. This is a basic relaxed leg, traditional rise jean in a very accessible, very versatile denim.

The proprietor, Gordon, is also one of the good guys of retail.

denim that fits my waist and ass

^ Pics of said seat fit please if you got 'em.

All these front views (except TC's) are well enough. Somehow it's been drilled into my head that denim cognoscenti assess denim fit starting with the seat.

As mentioned, at first wearing TC's seat seems wedgy-ish, and probably will stretch to fit.

    I'm wearing a hoodie.

    Hood up, Sith lord style?

I would suggest Studio D'Artisan 101s. This is a basic relaxed leg, traditional rise jean in a very accessible, very versatile denim.

Two or three of the Sugarcanes might also fit the bill. Watcha think? I have the SelfEdge collab, which is skinny and mid rise, but the others they put out could be just the thing for many MC guys.

The NDG look much darker in that photo than in others I've seen. I like them, and the fit is great.

Thanks. I'm not sure, but I seem to remember that NdG put out two grays, one dark and one a bit lighter.

While I love you guys, I'm going to have to draw the line at ass pic requests.

Since we're discussing fit, it helps me to have pictures like these series.

The stacking and posing seem very affected though.

FTFY Vox, I can't believe your denying us. How are we supposed to judge the fit? After reading this thread, I have a pair of RRLs on the way.

Thanks for the comments. The pics were taken after approximately three minutes of total wear so hopefully they will loosen up a tad in those regions.

Dayum I didn't mean to start anything with the seat pic. LOL I was really just wanting anyone to point out if something was terribly wrong (other than having a large ass, of which I'm already aware).

B., I didn't know you were a Galliano fan?!? Interesting how the Galliano label points in the direction of Mr. Johnson [IMG] .

they will loosen up a tad in those regions.

FWIW, my wife loves the seat fit of my European designed (Dior, Sander, YSL) more than my American and Japanese designed (Rag & Bone, Levis, Yohji) jeans. Moi aussi.

    ^^^

    1. This confirms my desire for a double-breasted blazer.

    2. It also confirms my disgust with rolled up jeans.

    3. Something's off about your shoes. You desperately need a pair of Foofwings.
