Sorry, we don't stock 'low rise' denim.

Can you confirm that the leather tag is beaver?

That's what the buzz is, anyway.

Jeans are suppose to be worn where they rise. If you want to pull your jeans up high, get jeans with a high rise, and vice-versa. Not all that complicated.

A true 'denim master' needs no tag. Your denim-fu is weak.

This is pathetic coming from you. I'm not the one that throws a fit when someone else knows something I don't. It's sad actually. For all your dismissiveness toward me, what do you have to show for yourself? Perhaps it escapes my memory, but I've seen nothing to be jealous of. Maybe that's what distinguishes us.

As off-base as your comment is, there are far worse influences on style than Mariano Rubinacci and Matt. Moreoever, only someone with a dull eye or an even duller mind would see a substantive similarity between us.

What, you mean I'm short?!? Darn it, I hadn't noticed. I'll be a better a listener from now on. Excuse me for a few hours while I go back and read everyone's useful advice about how to be taller.

Actually, it was a reference to Reservoir Dogs, not your size. Let me know what you find out - I just wouldn't buy any of those pumps if I were you (I think they're a scam).

Actually, I don't remember much from that movie. Saw it years ago. I liked Pulp Fiction much better, but I know that's sacrilege.

I think I like Pulp Fiction better too. Still love Reservoir Dogs - dialogues are incredible.

The granting of grudging respect is the prerequesite of all Hollywood buddy movies.

So, yes.

BTW, did you build that shoe closet with your expected winnings from iTailor of 2008? If so, I must warn you: the prize might pay for one shelf...without the hardware.

Check's in the mail, via the firm of Franco & Beaman.

I didn't read all 20+ pages of this monster thread, so it may already have been mentioned, but I strongly recommend Nom de Guerre.

The classic fits are a very democratic cut with a medium rise and fairly slim leg and have no back pocket stitching or other distracting details. The quality is excellent and they come in some very interesting shades of grey as well as the essential indigo. I have 2 pairs (dark grey and indigo) and they are hands down the best jeans I have owned. A bit pricey at ~$250, but well worth it.
