Delhi Nursery Schools Still Tougher to Crack Than Harvard?

Harvard's acceptance rate is usually 8-9%, I don't think many people would say IIT is more elite than Harvard.

Also, my guess is getting into these nursery schools is more about connections, social status, and bribery than ivy league schools are (although I'm sure you can argue here).

and west point is still 'harder' to get into than anything else.

hmmm it's good that it's changed. My girlfriend was brought up in Calcutta, and it sounds like "donations" and a good "interview" are what got her in. all this competition for a 3 year-old, sounds crazy.


i find it incredibly annoying when public schools here in NZ have compulsory donation schemes.

"development applicants" I believe they are called in Ivy League schools. As in their parents can help develop the size of the schools endowment further. It costs a few hundred thousand dollars, at the better Ivies.
