I have ordered shirt #6 from moderntailor and it looks like i need advice on the correct way to measure for a slim fit shirt.

Sleeve Length:
Arms by side -> Shirt cuff ends start hand (1" past wrist) = Correct
Arms in air -> Shirt cuff ends 1" before wrist = I assume this is correct since it pulls the shirt back 2"
Arms in desk -> Shirt ends start hand but bunches up alot around wrist (about 1.5" excess material). -> Is this normal? it looks crap.

Waist:
Should the waist measurement be more than the hip measurement for a flat stomach?
How much extra material looks good around the waist? When im sitting down i can grab about 2" of material. I was thinking of reducing shirt by 1" around waist but this may restict movement.

Wrist:
I can only fit one finger between cuff and skin to restrict the sleeve moving. Is this correct?

edit:
I will ask MT for advice.

I think its safer to ask moderntailor for advice since they will be the one making your shirt.

Not sure, but I would love for someone to put together a more thorough measurement/adjustment guide.

My one comment: For the waist/hip, I've found that I definitely need the hip to be bigger than the waist. If you look at measurements for any OTR shirt that is also the case.

I'm a 32" waist and I currently have these numbers in:
Half-waist: 18.5"
Half-hip: 21"

Still experimenting a bit to figure out how much extra fabric to leave around the waist in order to avoid bunching.

Im a 32" waist and i ordered with 18.5" Waist and 19" Hip. For some reason it bunches near the belt more than at the waist.

Going for 18" Waist, 18" Hip on next order.
