Degree questions

I'm going to university this year and while my first choice is medicine in Tartu (free education), I'm thinking of having a plan B in Denmark. Right now what I'm thinking of is applying to various universities in Denmark for an Engineering degree and also for a bachelor's in International Business.

What I want to know is if International Business is a degree worth going for or will it just leave me unemployed or sitting at a cubicle in some corporation doing some lowly work and having everybody boss me around? Where I'm aiming with some kind of a business degree or some such is really in a managerial role or a high-ranking representative of the company.
