    Hi,

so I just bought a first pair of leather shoes ever (it's AE, bough in store, 15% off). Park Avenue, dark brown.

I don't have an experience in term of kind of blemishes which are accepted, I'm personally quite picky.

Inner leather piece of my park avenue shoes feels quite soft and looks somewhat bumpy.
Was wearing the shoes so far only in the house for a few hours. Wonder if it's normal and is acceptable quality wise (I mean I paid almost full price).

    Attached pictures.
    Thank you for the response!

I don't know what the pictures are supposed to show... so, I'd say they're acceptable.

The leather actually looks very dry, as if they have been stored for a long time. Also, the bulge at the front of the heel counter/stiffener, in the first picture, is not typical of a new shoe. I would return them.
