I recently purchased some v neck sweaters on sale that are quite deep. It seems that most agree that shirt collars look better tucked into sweaters, however it seems no shirt collar will fit under the neck of this type of sweater.

Should I be wearing these more casually without a collared shirt? How do you guys do with yours?

Heres a reference picture

Thanks!

They can be worn any way you want any varietry of shirt and without a shirt looks effective as well.

I only wear v-neck with collared shirts or polos. I prefer longer wide-spread collars and they stay under the sweater comfortably. Maybe yours are too short?

Well what I'm referring to is the shirt collar not even reaching the sides of the Vneck gap and looking awkward. I suppose my shirt collars are too small?

You'd have to wear enormous collars to tuck them into a sweater like this.

(Yeah, the knot needs some work. I was just starting out.)

^^^ That doesn't look good at all. I'd only wear that sweater with an unbuttoned collar.

Hm. People seem to like it. But you may be right. I'll try it tieless/open collar next time.
