Hi everyone,
Recently my single pouch black leather laptop bag met it's end (unfortunate leather repair gone wrong) so I decided to replace it.
My laptop bag and laptop come with me most places, from office to coffee shop to international travel (on the plane etc). I generally like to keep it small and portable, and keep the laptop, charger, notepad, and a few other odds and ends in there. This is my main work bag. My office environment is relatively casual, but I do some client facing work which is a bit better dressed.
I've narrowed it down to a couple but I'm having a tough time deciding.
Option A) Coach Metropolitan in dark navy pebbled leather.
Pros: zips all the way down the sides, large inner area, nice interior lining, black zipper etc are nice. Lifetime leather warranty.
Cons: has magnetic side pockets that are lined, so water may make its way inside there.
Option B)Sandro city bag in crossgrain black
Pros: smaller and lighter than Coach, looks sharper/more stylish.
Cons: large metal zipper might stand out too much for office? Scrapes laptop a bit if I don't have a sleeve on it.
Runner ups:
Frank Clegg single gusset (a bit too expensive, hard to get in Canada, large)
Paul Smith Embossed Leather City Folio (nice but seemed a bit large, and leather didn't seem as durable)
Opinions/suggestions?
