Hi,
I want to treat myself to a new pair of jeans, however as much as I want to spring for a pair of Sevens or Ernest Sewns, my pocket book can't swing it at the moment.

I am looking for a decent brand of jeans that come in around the $100-150 Canadian dollar mark (I live in Greater Toronto). I am I guess what you could term an average North american build, 5'10" 200lbs etc. and I am looking for a dark rinse that could be worn in a creative office environment (I work in public relations).

Any suggestions?

^ You wouldn't want Sevens; aside from some ugly washes and designs, you'd be paying primarily for brand recognition.

Try http://www.nakedandfamousdenim.com/ , which makes great denim (might just be a bit out of your price range), and is from Canada to boot.

Definitely the A.P.C. New Standards. You need to measure your true waist which is at the smallest point somewhere below your navel. Size down 2" from this. (e.g. your true waist measures 32", buy a tagged size 30)

Edited by Fok: Please PM vendors (Farinelli's) directly for Styleforum exclusive promotions. Due to vendor restrictions, we cannot advertise procing information. Pleasew abide by this rule.

Do it.

I'd say RRL from an outlet mall or Uniqlo selvage if you happen to run across a pair. Also, lurking on the B&S forum can net you something really nice at a deeply discounted price.

I'd say that one of the best buys out there are RRLs. They cost upwards of $200, but you can find them discounted. If you are willing to take a chance, go the Ebay route. If you want a little more security (the ability to exchange for size, etc...), go with a retailer. You can check for a better price at Farinelli's.
