Hi everyone!
it's been a while since my last time here, knowing you gentlemen have tons of experience and knowledge I would like to ask for advice or your 2 cents over this Hugo Boss suit on that goes on discount for $500.
I personally love the styling, peak lapels and vest, however, I am puzzled over the fact its made out of 54% polyester / 46% virgin wool.
What are your thoughts?

I personally wouldn't, and I like Boss more than most here: best thing about them is they generally fit athletic-ish body types really nicely. The short jacket thing isn't a good look imo, and poly gets hot in the summer (and has a shiny look to it year round).

Quite honestly it already looks terrible on the model...like he’s wearing his little brothers suit...

Polyester for 500$...Why would you ever?

Spend your money in the Suitsupply Outlet or even better support a small nice business in Spier & McKay

If you like it then that's all that matters? I wouldn't knowingly pay more than $99 for a fused suit but you do you.

I feel like I am way out of the loop but seriously who the hell still buys Hugo Boss? I feel like they were a thing in the 1990s but what have they done recently?

It's extremely difficult to find decent suits in size 34R as I require. I own 2 Suitsupply suits and their quality is great but I get the feeling their styling is outdated and targeted towards older men. I wasn't sure how bad Hugo Boss suit, let alone a polyester blend suit would be so I resorted here seeking for advice, appreciate the input.

That’s a lot of poly for a suit. I’ve seen 5% for wrinkle resistance (“traveler” fabric) but I’d pass on this one. At that price point. You’ll have other options.

SuSu is definitely not styled for older men and small sizes abound. ??

If TS likes the look of the suit in those photos I can imagine why he’s saying that...it just looks ridiculous and none of the brands people like on SF would offer it...

I mean no one knows how it's going to look on you, so really what more can we say? It looks ridiculous on that model, but models are often skinny people with unusually long legs, that suit in my size would probably look OK on me because I am the opposite - short legs and wide shoulders. They may even offer "L" sizes too. At a size 34 you're probably pretty thin, so the shoulders and lapels are probably OK with respect to structure and width.

Don't bother. Suitsupply or Spier and Mackay and you'll save money.

Obviously it's impossible to tell how the suit is going to fit, I was looking for info about the the fabric if it even can be called that in case of polyester, and I think the answers I've been given were quite helpful and straight forward
