Hello,

What style/type of tux shirt do you think works best with a DB tuxedo? Is there a certain preferred option? I have not seen any information search or otherwise specific to DB Tuxes.

It will be worn with a black bow tie. Should i wear studs or have covered buttons? pleats or none? I assume turn down collar is most appropriate considering it is not white tie.

Specific details about brand/style would be greatly appreciated. I tend to wear slim cut shirts (black label polo etc. fit wise) Thank you

I wear a DB tux, and my shirt has a laydown collar and a pique bib. My shirt is by Zegna, and it came with what appears to be Mother of Pearl studs, so I wear those rather than one of my cheap costume jewelry stud sets.

I need to get mother of pearl cufflinks, I think that would finish the look better.

The Windsor solution was turn-down collar and pleats. Softest possible shirt for a (relatively) informal, soft suit.

Studs are perfectly fine, and are preferable IMO.
