I've seen hundreds of Saint Andrew's suits and sportcoats, under their own label, and under many different private labels, but never one without handstitched buttonholes. Where did you see these??
When I was on a fairly recent business trip to Chicago I made a quick stop at a mens store called Syd Jerome. It was there that I saw, for the first time, Saint Andrews with machinemade buttonholes. I know, it took me by surprise. Everything else seemed to be up to usual SA standards - full canvassing etc. Syd Jerome is the first place I've seen carry SA under its own label besides Bergdorf Goodman(previously).

Interesting. Must be a special request from the store, probably done to keep the price below a certain point, due to the low dollar...
