Yeah, I always wonder this about marrying rich girls. Are you expected to support her lifestyle solely with your meager salary? Or do you instantly get access to the family coffers?
I always thought that you go and work for her dad where he pays you well enough to support her for you doing basically nothing but screwing his daughter. Atleast that's how it worked for me [IMG]

just tell her that she'll never live like common people, and she'll never fail like common people. Then order a rum and coca-cola and take her to a supermarket. Anyway, that is my advice.

    Worked for me.

I´ve been seeing this girl for the past month or so. Her father happens to be quite well-off and his daughter is naturally well looked after by daddy, she´s also a student. I am also studying (2nd year law) and do have a modest amount of money to spend each month. However, the situation is the girl is a bit "too" acquainted" with the finer things.

And how ze Fuck do I tell her kindly to stop dragging me to over priced places and for her to come back down to earth ?

I think this is what Billy Joel calls Uptown Girl. Unlike in Joel's and Christie's MTV, there is no happy ending for you though.

If you cant splurge on her, she can get someone else who can.
Anyway, for 2 students to splurge like that in UK is absurd and you know it. But for her, she can afford it and obviously you cant'. You are batting way above your average.

If you think this is bad, wait till you get more attached and she wants the frigging Aspen ski holiday, the penthouse in Mayfair, the country manor lifestyle, the Bentley to drive her to work etc. Bail out while you can and engage in some dumpster diving. That can be more fun really.

Whenever I hear that song I think of Upton Sinclair

Oh yes. But I dont know whether Billy stopped singing that song like what he did to another song over his earlier wife. I saw in the papers, Christie is still looking for her next husband. Still looks hot though.

what would be better is to have your own company her dad can "invest" in. at least you're not such an obvious chump. plus if most of his sons are lazy entitled pricks that like to do other things like indie flicks or rap then the keys to the kingdom are yours.

...Just have a f***ing conversation with her about it. If she's cool but has just been oblivious because she takes certain things for granted, it will give her the opportunity to be more sensitive. If she has a big problem with it, then maybe her character isn't what you've been thinking...
Once again lawyerdad has it figured out. Follow his advice; it will save you a lot of heartache...and money.

Wtf @ buying her jewelry after only a month of dating. Is this forum filled with simps who just aimlessly throw their money at whatever pussy asks?

Assimilate the bitch into the simpler finer things in life or next her. There's more than 3.5 billion women on earth. She's not that special.

You could try having a conversation with her..... since this is the girl you're dating and whatnot.

What's a Pulp song? Is it like Pulp Fiction? I thought Shatner's lyrics were kind of profound but what do I know...

The band 'Pulp' 90's Britpop band.

Common People was one of their biggest singles

Sounds like they were really influenced by Oasis. That's probably why they never became popular.
