Check out sierratradingpost.com for a moderate selection of AE's. Also, be sure to search for 20-30% codes for the site. I recently picked up a pair of AE Cliftons for about $130.

Es on ebay for $150 from grapevinehill. Many of them have slight defects you will easily get used to for 50% off.

Grenson masterpiece for paul stuart from bennies shoes for $210 or so whenever they come out are a far better deal, however. Maybe every 1.5 years?

You don't list your location but you should check out the outlets...Cole Haan for inexpensive but decent, check Zegna outlets for your price range, allen edmunds outlet...... then e-bay for better shoes. You might list your size in case someone has a specific option for you.

Regards....

Hope Cole Haan has improved then. I bought a pair several years ago at Nordy's.

With a month the sole started peeling off at the toe. They replaced them; a month later, same problem. This time I asked for my money back. They begged me to try one more... same problem intwo weeks.
