Very interesting. I wonder if these were custom shoes that the customer didn't pick up for some reason.

This guy's been tryiing to sell these for months. But then again I can't read Japanese so maybe he has a whole bunch of them.

His problem mught be his asking price. It looks to me (and I can't read Japanese) that the starting price or the BIN price is 88,000 yen, which seems way out of line to me for calfskin EGs.

If they were the right size and at a reasonable price, I'd take them off his hands in a heartbeat.

EBay seller "English Shoes" was selling a pair or two just like that last spring. Very nice, and unique too. Wish they had been my size. (They were brand new too)

The starting price is 88,000 yen.  I belive the Tokyo street price for the Dover in black or brown is roughly 120,000 yen.
