1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I bought the Overtons in a 10EE since EE is the only option on their site. I have a pretty wide foot, not quite EE when measured but close. When I tried them on, they were too big length-wise so my heel kept slipping.

I wear a 9.5D in RWs and they are pretty snug width-wise. The 9.5EE Overtons should work.

Right yeah that makes sense. I have a slightly wide foot as well, but not quite EE. I can fit in 8.5E RW or 9.5D. I think I will be alright with 9EE in Danners

I dunno, I sized half a size down on my chromexcel Light Lownsdale and it fits great (usually a 9D, went with 8.5EE). But I have a pretty regular width foot.

I almost pulled the trigger on those until I found the Lownsdale deal, such a great price on Boylston Trading. In the end, the Horween leather and softer outsole won me over but at a $100 premium.

Yeah, they were EE. EE is the only option when ordering from Danner directly.

I got my pair of Danner Stumptown Mountain Trails in 10 2E (the lighter brownish-tan ones with green laces). I have weird feet and they don't fit the way I want.

I could go through the effort to return them but I'll offer 'em up here for $280 (we'll split the paypal fees, so add 2%) USD shipped Canada/US. They usually retail for around $310. They're brand new in the box, all tags still attached etc etc. I don't want to bother throwing it up in the classifieds, so if no one bites I'll just return 'em.

    These ones:

I have these in a 9.5 E too if anyone's interested,,,, given to me as a gift a few months back but haven't ended up wearing them at all (maybe 3 times, still have the box but no tags). Would part with them for $220 shipped in Canada/US.

i want to buy danner light ot danner light ii but not sure with thes size.
i don't own any aldens or AE but can say what i can compare with:

red wind chukka and wabasha - size 10 US, regular i think
    new balance 670 and 576 - size 10.5D US
ll bean boots classic 8" - size 9D, quite tight but they don't have 1/2 sizes
clarks desert boots 10UK fit me fine as far as i remember

can it be enough? all hope to experienced users

Agree--unless you plan to wear thick winter socks then I would go 10.

I have a pair of Lownsdale size 8 and a pair of Red Wing Wabasha size 8.5. The two fit similarly and I wear regular cotton socks with them but feel tight with wool Thorlo socks.
