Any opinion on ties from Daniel de Fasson? I needed a tie, and didn't have much time to look around, so ended up picking up a tie recommended by the sales person (she actually made a good match) by Daniel de Fasson. I had never actually heard of the brand till today. Good? Bad? Thanks for any input.

I have one of these ties. Although the silk isn't especially nice, it ties a perfect knot and is cut to the perfect width for me. I think they can be a bit overpriced at retail, but I'm sure you can find them on sale.

They have them at Dillards here. some rich colors and patterns. I do not own one. they feel a bit heavier than other brands at the store.
I agree with coach, you might find a decent value when some are on sale.

yeah, I picked one up for 30% off today, for $35 ($50 retail). The colors are rich.

I picked up a solid black Daniel de Fasson tie at Nordstrom Rack for $20 (down from $50 retail). Not bad for the price, and I like the texture.
