It looks like parasailing/invisible car Bond is gone, and the I am a gritty, kick your
devil.gif
, shoot you in the back anti hero; yet unflappable, sophisticated, cultured, and sex is there also. At least Craig is in shape and looks like he could actually win a physical altercation.

You can watch the trailer which ends with Craig at the end of the poker (not baccarat from what I hear) table in Tuxedo. What do you think of his tux? I like the trailer.

God - I am such a huge Bond geek!!!

That is an awesome trailer - but pretty much anything with the Bond music would get me ready to see this film.

So last time, Halle Berry paid homage to Ursula Andress' bikini in Dr. No and this time, they have Daniel Craig wearing the same swim trunks as Connery in that movie (a little something for the ladies apparently).

Couldn't tell much about the tux on my monitor, but I love the khaki suit with the open neck dress shirt - could anyone tell if that was a button down or spread collar?

I would say probably a spread or point as a BD would be less Bondish.
I think Craig may possibly be the second best Bond

It was a spread collar with a SB peak lapel jacket!

Purists will probably say he's the closest Bond to the one in the novels, though I'm hoping not quite as sexist. "They sent in a bloody WOMAN? Are they even taking this seriously?" If I misquoted ever so slightly, my bad. The only thing I hope they don't do is have him actually look raggedy like that in the classic gun barrel sequence. I like his style from what I'm seeing, though he looks a bit too cliche-hitman in that open collar getup.

Did I see Jonny Lee Miller? That guy hasn't gotten quite enough screen time in the last decade.

He was great in Layer Cake (good clothes in that flick too) and Munich. I'm actually looking forward to seeing Craig in this because he's a bit more bad-ass (for lack of a better term) than Brosnan.

The last news I heard was that Kilgour are the new tailor for Bond. Kilgour is Daniel Craigs tailor for down time.

I say make him as Fleming wanted, a PC James Bond is like a light beer in a plastic bottle, it just doesn't work...

well, i'm hoping for the best, but i'm going to have a hard time accepting that guy as Bond....and i'm almost willing to bet he spends little of the movie in a suit.

thanks for the clip link-- did you get the impression this is another movie headed in the direction 'batman begins' went, sort of starting over again? looks like we'll see Bond's promotion to a double-O, etc.
