Was just at his store on 5th Ave in NY and I was lovin' most of his collection. He has a bunch of little accessories that I had never seen before and the shoes are really nice. I really wanted to pick these up while I was there, but they were just too much and I didn't feel like packing them to take them back home...

Oh, I don't even remember the question...doh!

I'll put some pics up for you, they are absolutely killer though. The top two buttons are well, not buttons at all, more like metal clips that look rather industrial and the rest is a button fly. The crotch has a different material from the rest of the pants and is almost like a greenish/khaki color. It has some cool pocket detailing on the back pockets and the side as well. Fit is pretty straight and seems somewhat low rise. It also has buttons lining the waist.
The only thing I will say about Paul Smith stuff is I wish he made a 31, or just odd sizes in general. Sometimes the 32 is perfect on some things and other times it is HUGE! Then the 30 is usually a bit too small....aaahhh tis life...

no **** JET!! since his LA store opened late last year I've bought 6 pairs of shoes from there and I'm eyeing another couple for his post Xmas presale.

it's like I'll be thinking "damn Paul Smith needs to make _______"...and then next thing you know there it is on the shelf! it's happened 3x this year already

his new "British Collection" is phenomenal...Edmorel said the shoes are made by Cheaney, which I've verified, and the finishes are great, much nicer than actual Cheaneys, with cool leather colors and brogueing patterns. My most recent aquisition are some espresso brown chukkas that are badical. Here's a quick pic from the other nite when I wore em out to my engagement dinner at the Ritz Carlton....hard to see but the medallion pattern on the toe is sooo f'ing cool...and the 2 tone striped laces sealed the deal

took a quick pic before heading out of the chukkas...

I dig the gradation in brown to the darker toe, it's subtle and nice!

thanks man, yea I'll hit you up when my SA calls about the pre-sale...she said it's gonna be a bit earlier this year than last, sometime around the beg of Jan. I've got some stuff I'm eyeing that I'm pretty sure will be around by that time since they're on the less conservative side and that stuff usually sticks around. It's a good thing yer a size larger than me otherwise we'd be duking it out in the parking lot over a shirt!

In some circles, that's known as "burying the lead". Congrats, man. And a smokin' outfit, too.

Never bough anything from Paul Smith, but a friend of mine has some nice suits from there, which he then gets, altered at the tailors.

Wow GS, those boots are gorgeous! Is there anywhere else to get those besides the PS store? Haven't seen any PS shoes in TX.
