So I found the PERFECT scarf. Yea this one The color is just amazing. I was going to order it when someone told me how famous it got because it was used on Gossip Girl. So my dilemma is should I still order it or just get a different one so I don't look like fanboy (of a show that is aimed at a female audience might I add.)

I too, like the scarf but don't do it. I quick search on photobucket turned this up. Find another one.

Cool scarf. Other silk/wool options include Paul Stuart and Charvet, but I've never seen either do a checked pattern like this one, nor are they available in this price range.

I vote against the majority: get it.

I think we all agree its a sick scarf but the bigger problem is when people recognise it you will look to them as a fanboy who can't get his own style. I think I'm going to look for something with a bit different pattern.

I like the show. A lot of people like the show. I don't see how that would be a reason not to get it.

Anyone that tells you different gets a hard on from watching James Bonds.

In fact I want it but think it's too expensive for it.

+1. If you really like it that much just get it though. At the end of the day its just a scarf. Chances are random women will start conversations with you. (This is generally a good thing.)

I like the scarf, I've never heard of "Gossip Girl". I'd wear it.

If you like it, get it. If you find wearing it makes you uncomfortable or people make comments, stop wearing it for a year or two. I imagine you'll find that by that time everyone has forgotten about its appearance on the show, but you still enjoy wearing it.

Would James wear that scarf though, otherwise why buy it?

Only time I've seen a better retail price for a silk/wool scarf was from JCrew, and it was not nearly this nice.

Silk?

It's all silk except for the fringe stuff on the end. My mom likes silk scarves. I won't be wearing one.

I want to post a picture of daniel craig in a bathtub on here for all those guys but I just don't know if that would be a faux pas.

I can't comment on the quality but personally I don't think I could spend that much on this kind of scarf.

Yeah.. I've been looking for a smoking jacket recently.. guess why?

P.S. And I guess the question is... Do you want teenage (and older) girls all over you?
