I became totally hooked on this show during the first season. I am definitely looking forward to seeing what the new season will bring.

Is this the series with Glenn Close? I couldn't watch it on principle.

I avoided it outright when it was on...then had nothing else to watch in the last 2 weeks so I watched all of season 1...like 2 episodes a night, and only that few because I was getting home so late. It was really good, but most likely because I went into it thinking it'd totally blow. Right now I don't have directtv set up yet, so I can't catch season 2. The streaming stuff of it I found online is all out of synch with the audio, so I can't stand watching it. Hopefully it'll be worth the wait.

This has been bothering me, but the guy from the anger sessions whose fiancee was killed by a drunk driver....wasn't it Frobisher who caused her death? At the end of the 2nd episode (from this current season)you see him opening the closet with guns and Frobisher's pictures everywhere. Anyone else remember that drunk driving subplot from season 1?

Oh yah! Good pick up, I totally remember that and the subsequent cover up/pay out by Frobisher. I must have missed that scene with the guns but it does make sense. I wonder if he knows that Frobisher wronged Ellen...which would make sense why he's pushing her towards revenge (gave her the number for the gun).

At first I thought he was planted by Patty to keep an eye on Ellen...the plot last year was so twisted, you had to question everything.

When Ellen is talking to him about going to see Frobisher in the hospital, her friend figures out who it is (remember Ellen didn't tell him who killed her fiancee) and he got a little upset that she didn't tell him. He did give her the number for the gun before he knew (or at least before we knew he knew....he could have known the whole time....only the 2nd episode and its already getting confusing!)

After he found out she went to see Frobisher, he told her to stay away from him and encouraged her not to get revenge at that point. Like some of you, I didn't get into it when it first came out too. The beginning of season 1 starts really slowly. I downloaded all of season 1 at the beginning of season 2 and watched it all in a few days. It was really good and sucked me in. I think the "tough but vulnerable" Ellen of season 2 is super hot. Something about a chick with scotch, cigar and a gun gets me going.

Thanks. Forgot that part. 2nd episode was pretty good, though I think Purcell did kill his wife and is using this "report" and exposing the company as a coverup/way to get away with murder.

What say you?

I don't think he did it. The time line and evidence doesn't support it. I do think he might have had someone do it though. It's way too early to tell what's going on in the show.

Who do we think Ellen shoots?
