I did a search and only came up with a few posts from 2003. Does anyone have an opinion on Dack's shoes? Prior to joining this board I would have probably looked at Cole Haan or Floorsheim but I really want to get the best quality for my money.
I'm shopping for a pair of wingtips and I'm probably going to go with a pair of AE's but my option's are still open. I'd prefer to keep it under $500 Cdn. retail if possible. Any other suggestions for places to look in Edmonton or Toronto besides Harry Rosen?

    Thanks in advance.

I've never owned a pair of Dack's, but from what I've seen they're not very impressive. The leather isn't great and the styles aren't attractive. They are way overpriced for the quality. Definitely go with the AE's.

I don't know about Edmonton, but in TO there's not a lot of decent shoe places besides Harry Rosen or David's (both on Bloor) that I know of.
