Based on the packaging I would guess 50's or 60's, but Simms date back to 1866 and are still in business. The lather brush ad is from 1920; the news article is from 1968 and the Paint brush is from Rona available on line today.

Hartt PTBs in water bison. I really dig the look. The matching pair in brown looked really sloppy so I moved them on.

They were made post 1987; likely late 80's or very early 90's. That sock-liner replaced the "anniversary" liner at the end of 1987. Late in the Dacks run, but one of the super shoes they were still making at that time. Love 'em!
Thanks so much. I love them as well; in particular the double thick soles and the thicker heel. The build quality is fantastic.

I wore them out to a concert in the fall. It was hard, but they will never be for sale so I might as well use them. I think I could get by with about 10 pairs of dress shoes, 6 pairs of dress boots, 2 pairs of winter boots and a pair of gym sneakers. But I want them all to be the best. Life is just too short to wear ****** shoes.
I will take over your extras. Pick me! Pick me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I daydream a lots. Sometimes it takes a whole day.

I imagine there’s a nerdy gangster who calls himself “gingivitis” because he’d bleed your mouth but bring up good hygiene awareness at the same time.

I imagine I’d find a place in Canada at some point. It should be close enough to a metro for thrifting escapades and good foods, but also far enough from the noises and hustles. Maybe start learning French and rekindle their influences on Vietnamese culture. Did you know Vietnamese, the speaking language, has not changed, but the written language was invented by a French missionary. That’s why Vietnamese has alphabetical language while all of our land neighboring countries use characters. Did I mention the nerdy gangster? He’s an awesome Vietnamese guy who happens to like vintage shoes too.

Presenting 60s Dacks brown water bison wholecuts. I wore them last night while imagining myself bringing up good hygiene awareness, like a caring but misunderstood Asian Batman gangster. Stay awesome Gothem.

Nos Highbrowns, would've paid triple. Kind of stuff you just don't haggle on when the price is more than fair. I don't know if I could sell any, but it's getting close. Maybe another few and I may start puttin feelers out.

How was the first open weekend (in ages) of Ontario for you gents?
