Happy Canada Day! Unfortunately stuck at home as my son has a fever.

Tomorrow will be wearing a new pair of John McHales that have new heel and Topy. Can't wait.

Didn’t work on Canada Day. So first day back is the maiden voyage of these John McHale gunboats. New heels and topy.

Thank you! Yes, I was sitting with a tea on the porch waiting for a buddy to show up and just threw them on sockless.

On this day in 1891 Standford Elmore Dack, grandson of founder Matthew, was born in York, ON. In celebration of his birthday, I am wearing my prairie oxhide apron toes with party socks.

Haha, yeah, woven white leather isn't the easiest thing to pull off. I thrifted mine about five years ago now and I've probably only worn them about five times. You're kind of stuck either going full-on southern trad or full-on sleazeball. I opted for the latter earlier this week but I'm not sure I had quite enough chest-hair on display in retrospect...
