Any of the legal professionals around here in the mood to provide legal advice related to rentals? I just want to see if I am royally screwed or I have some options. I can PM with details for the willing.

My professional opinion is that you are screwed. And I can tell you that w/o knowing any of the facts.

If you are a landlord in D.C. you are SCREWED.
If you are a tenant in D.C. you have hit the JACKPOT.

    Act accordingly.

THanks for the responses. I've chatted with a few people via PM.
