Simple question - any soft-toed Dress leather out here? Curious what it looks like :)

If anyone is interested, White's currently having a 20% off closeout sales on stock MP-M1 boots. Also few mainstreet and oxfords(!) are on sale as well. The website was crashing a while ago but now seems to be up.

My preference is lined but I am not sure if it will make the toes bulbous.

AFAIK Whites always uses a lining on the vamp regardless. All of my Whites boots came with one. The toe looking bulbous has more to do with choosing the celastic toe option which adds an insert that sits between the lining and vamp leather.

This is absolutely correct, White’s always lines the vamp whether you want them to or not, the lined/unlined choice that you make for a custom order is actually only relevant to the quarters, and even then on the “exotic” leathers (HH, shell, calf, etc.) White’s mandates lining the quarters as well.

Those are not only the ugliest White's I've ever seen, they're in the running for ugliest boots, period. I feel like someone who is not very good at visualising things thought that those would somehow look good, then when they saw the final product returned them immediately.
