Obviously having a measurable difference between the two boots isn't ideal, particularly if the one that measures narrower is pinching. 1/16" isn't massive though; as you can see from the info at the top of this Brannock Chart, ±3/16" is approximately equal to one width up or down. So your boot's variation of 1/16" is, in context, around a third of a Brannock widths difference. So basically...cinnamon waxed flesh? They look great, how do you like the lineman patch?
I measured the soles of both boots at the same place (used the medallion toe cap as a reference point) and the left boots is 1/16 of an inch narrower
That said, if the left boot is pinching, and the left boot is also measurably narrower, I'd say it's something worth looking into.
Ultimately, photos and measurements can only help so far with fit issues; it's really about how they feel on your feet. If the boots feel too small, they're too small, and if they feel too big, they're too big, etc. And it's really something the person wearing the boots is better placed to determine than anyone else.
