Is there any noticeable difference in comfort between the rolled top and cut top? I'm looking at ordering a 10" bounty hunter, and trying to finalize my choices. Thanks!

Hmmm...
I thought mine had double. They aren't with me at present to check.
But I would say Whites would almost certainly do either single or double.

In the standard BH I wear a 9.5C with normal socks (not heavyweight winter or hiking socks). My Packers are a 10B because the pointed toe squeezed my own toes in the 9.5C. The arch still feels like it is in the correct spot, and believe me, your feet will not slip once the boots are laced up.

I only mention this because I would not assume that the size you need in the 695 last is the same as any other Whites last.
I saw the attached picture on whitesboots.com and thought pointed toe packers might have single row stitching.
Thank you for the sizing info. How is taller heel in packers (pointed toe) comfort wise? if I plan to wear them all day long (office environment mostly : )).

I’ve said it many times before & it still bears repeating; Bakers customer service is unparalleled. Absolutely love how they do business.

Here’s my first pair of Shell Cordovan boots:

Christ, these are some of the nicest boots I've seen on here; how are they breaking in? Am I right in saying these are a little bit taller (9 eyelets vs the usual 8)?

Might have to put an order in on Black Friday.

Well, Baker’s reputation for great customer service is well deserved! After taking a couple days to think about it and talking to Brandon at Bakers today, I think I’m going to keep my SD’s instead of sending them back and having them remade. The close trim is starting to grow on me and everything else about them is perfect. Brandon didn’t have to, but he offered me a discount on my next pair of Whites and I think I’m going to take the opportunity to order a pair for work.

As long as you're happy with the boots, that sounds like what the young folks call a win-win!

Thanks, man. After ~10 miles of evening walks they don't feel much different than new. They are comfortable though; no hot spots around the ball/arch/heel or ankles.
