I gave in again. Semi-dress in horween natural chromexcel, block heel, brass eyelets and vibram sole. Was on the fence vs. the oak street trench boots, but opted for these because the sole is so much more substantial on the white's.

Wow, those look great. I might have to get some of those. I really am interested in horsehide, but the natty cxl keeps looking better and better. I have natty oak street book makers trail oxfords, but I want a boot in natural.

How do you specify that you want the rubber outersole to continue at the arch from the front to the back like it shows here. I thought it was called the Half Slip, but apparently not? A lot of White's boots I see rubber on just the heel and the front, but not always the arch.

Also, has there been a post of the Bounty Hunter with a medallion captoe on an SD last? Couldn't find a pic searching through the thread.

It does look like British tan but Sierra as in the title could be a consideration, think White's do a Sierra leather. My stock British Tan pic attached but the lighting quite bright. [IMG]

Unless you ask for a half sole, it'll look like mine, which is a standard 430 sole.

Here's an update on that pair:

I don't think it is. It looks too shiny to be British Tan...
