It is not a glue, per se. It is a sealer. It comes in colors. It is very thin and will run into cracks. It then dries to a hard shell. It is somewhat waterproof. Not extremely durable, but way better than edge dressing.

Does Tandy Leather sell this stuff? I don't have any squeaking boots, but I may give it a try.

I got an email yesterday afternoon that White's has received my boots and they asked if they could resole them for no charge. I agreed, of course. I'm looking forward to getting them back without the squeak and I'm wondering if I should do something to prevent it from returning.

    Couple of boots thoughts.

I just wore a pair of Hathorn Packers for the first time I got a couple of weeks ago. They are the 12" height. Not a big fan of the height. I think 8" is probably the sweet spot(maybe 7", too, but I don't have any!).

I have a couple of pairs of White's in Bison. When I got them I thought the Bison was soft and wouldn't hold up. I have a pair of Hathorn cowboy boots in Bison that I have worn a fair amount, and the Bison is holding up really well. Looks really good after wearing in, too. Lots of character.

Whites reports that they have received my squeaky boots, and are resoling them at their expense!

I've seen those Hathorn bison cowboy boots from a seller on eBay I think and will admit that I'm tempted.

I know a 12" lace up would be much more than I need, but I'm sure that height has its place.

I just can't get over the quality of mine. Took awhile to break in at the beginning but now they feel just right and I wear them everyday. Just absolute beauties!
