Custom White's Boots ... Thoughts?

I am the biggest White's fan but may be White's doesn't care about our opinion : ).
They aren't targeting "Fashion loggers" or "yuppies" lol.

Oh, I think they definitely are.

You don't need a plethora of leather choices, brogue cap-toes, a choice of hardware finishes, different edge finishes, Dainite/ leather sole choices, or many of the other configuration options if you're logging or firefighting. Nor are models like the Semi-Dress, MP, Stevens, Mainstreet, etc. even aimed at those markets.

I mean, they even have an entire 'Lifestyle' section on their website, and they're owned by a Japanese apparel company. Pretty much every post they put on Instagram is either a pair of their boots being worn with a pair of raw denim jeans with turn-ups to show-off the selvedge ID, or a flat lay.

I'm pretty sure 'fashion loggers' and 'yuppies' are exactly who White's have in mind with a lot of their products.

No, the White's price increases are real, and the $200 stipend increase is real.

What I said in my post was, "I think it's because the wildland firefighter boot stipend increased in 2020 from $300 to $500."

I said I think there's a correlation between the two, because I do. It's not irresponsible nor slanderous to express a suspicion that a nearly $200 price increase and a corresponding $200 stipend increase are related, nor is it 'pulling stuff out of your backside' if those increases are real.

It would definitely stop us troublemakers getting up to no good.

Mind you, they've not been on here since that time they tried to refute a Carl Murawski YouTube video, and that ended up with them having to walk back pretty much everything they said and post a clarification. So maybe they've got better things to do than get down in the mud with us lot.
