Did you wear them every day? 7 days per week? Or 5 days per week as they will once again be worn in September? How many actual wear days does this represent?
A bit less than a month...I guess I should have clarified lol.
I officially started wearing them to work on May 28th Monday through Friday from 6:30-2:30pm with the occasional few hours on the weekend. I'll do that though the 25th next week and then they will be just occasionally over the summer. I'd gather around 200-250hrs by the time i get to the end of the month The picture represents 16 or 17 days. Once September starts it will be the same: Mon-Fri 6:30-2:30 and maybe a few hours here and there on the weekends to next June.

About a month of 8hr a day wear. They won't see much action through the summer, just here and there. September will start 5 days a week through June. Can't wait to see what these look like then as i'm planning on not really touching them at all.

You're making me want some distressed RO SDs (but with Vib100 soles). What heels do they have, and can we see a pic of baby Yoda wearing them (I assume that's baby yoda I see in the background)?

Well, I've made my first order for a custom White's boot:

6" Bounty Hunter
Lace to toe
Brown Dress
No lining
Cut top
Single celastic toe
Brass eyes and hooks
Double row stitch
Natural edge
Standard heel shape and height
430 sole

My objective was to get something like a 350 Cutter in Dress Brown. I'm pretty excited--looking forward to a box showing up sometime this fall.

Hahaha, that is Grogu in the background. I'll have to get a new picture up lol. The heel is the standard height block heel. I feel ya on the Vibram 100s. I have a pair of CWBs on 100s with the standard heel in Natty Lined CXLand they are awesome. I wanted these to be more casual and different.

Would someone out there be kind enough to post images of their black horsehide bounty hunters? I’m not finding too many black horsehide examples online

I just heard horsehide ages great. It was the first suggestion around here when I asked last week. Do you think it’s worth it for horsehide? Just casual use, where I can get a shine. I’m pretty excited! I’ll put in my order before the sale is over. Sizing’s all set, with a combo last, EE on the ball of the right foot, 8.5E for both.
My main priority, is a black boot.
I want a black bounty hunter. Torn between a few options. Mainly, just curious and looking to see if it’s a nice deep true black for the horsehide.
1. dress leather, or horsehide.
2. Commando half sole or vibram 100 lug.
3. Natural or Black Edge.

Everything else I’m all set.
6inch.
cream liner.
double stitch.
All brass eyelets.
Traveler heel.

My opinion, if you want casual black boots
Dress leather
Vibram 100
Natural edge
They will look "tough" if that's your cup of tea!

My replacement Bounty Hunters got dropped off by UPS today. Thanks to Kyle and Whites for getting these to me in about 1.5 months. I think Whites paid close attention to this build due to the defect (ripped vamp) on my last pair - the boots look beautiful and incredibly well constructed to my eye but have 2 issues: 1) the 2nd row of welt stitching seems to get "lost" in the toe area but at least this is symmetrical on both boots; 2) the right boot heel seems slightly skewed/off but doesn't seem to impact how I walk or how the boots fit.

Other than the 2 flaws mentioned, I'm very happy with how these turned out.

Anyone have experience with the Main Streets? Thinking about picking up a pair of the cap-toes in CXL.
I love my pair, moreso than my bounty hunters honestly (just). The fit is better and they are lighter.

I am a big proponent of matching the sole thread to the leather, which they will do if you ask.

Could you order combo last in main street?

Thanks for the tag, @chicagoan2016 .

Last time I checked, carriage from White's to the UK was $75, and Baker's was around $85. These numbers might have changed slightly, but that's the ballpark.

Technically, anything going through UK customs will get hit with 20% VAT, plus whatever duty is payable on the goods (I think it's about 3% for footwear/ clothing, but again this might have changed since last I looked).

If you're lucky, stuff can slip through customs without attracting a fee, but I wouldn't bank on it.

30-35% on top of the total cost is probably in the right ballpark.
“…go where you’re treated best.”
