I asked Baker's recently about contrast stitching on a pair of distressed roughout bounty hunters I was looking for black stitching. I was told this wasn't something that could be customized.

Called White's and yes, it's available as the poster early said. $25 extra but it entirely depends on which color leather you want.

Just called Baker's and yeah they said no contrast stitching on the MPs. I'll try calling White's directly though.

I have an email from Brandon dated 4/1 saying this could be done... strange...

In the past we have been told that a 7 eyelet Semi Dress was "impossible", yet I have a pair... go figure!

And here's a photo from their website of the Main Street, which has contrast stitching:

Yep, I called White's directly and they said contrast stitching was doable, depending on the specifics. White or black stitching on a natural or tan boot, for example, is a go.

As - I would assume - is white stitching on a black boot.

I was on the fence between the Bounty Hunter or Wesco hendrik. Since they told me I couldn't have black stitching on the Bounty Hunter I went with the hendrik. It help make my decision easier.

That would be me! They are on the way to me as we speak.
Awesome. You realise you're going to have to give us 'patina updates' once a week between now and, well, the end of time?

They're going to look so good with a few miles on them!
