From my eBay auction:
Up for your consideration is my custom Vanson. I had every intention of ordering one of the limited edition Mike Hailwood jackets (the black one!) and when the Vanson rep showed me one of the "test mules" (it's the stock sized, plain jacket to show how it will fit) I pretty much knew that's what I wanted. All black, with the simple single exterior chest pocket, double leather through the elbows and shoulders and the double neck closure. The only addition was a leather lined gun pocket (bad neighborhood).
It originally had a black lining that split down the center seam. I lived with it for a few years but decided to have Vanson replace it with the cool tartan that you see pictured. This was done just a few weeks ago. I had the same lining in a Vanson Comet. It's pretty great.
I never crashed it it and it's from a pet and smoke free home. I did point out where I had a few pins installed. Other than that, it's righteous.
Why am I selling it? It, uh, 'shrunk' and I brought this up with Vanson. Yeah, a good portion of their aging customer base have that same problem...
That's sarcasm, folks. I got fluffy in my older age.
Please ask any and all questions before bidding as I do not take returns. If you are near Oyster Bay, Long Island I'm happy to let you try it on. Otherwise, the measurements are posted in the photos.
