1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

.....I would be VERY interested in your opinion about the Maffeis' shirts.
I was in the store very briefly on Saturday. Â The Maffeis' look like a nice shirt: good single needle stitching, nice armhole attachment, plus good selection of fabric. Â I would suggest you try one and see how you like it.
The one Maffeis shirt that I have is indeed, quite nice. The only quibble I have is with the collar, which doesn't have the shape or elegance of a fine neapolitan collar.

    As a reminder:
I finally gathered all my courage and ordered the (m-t-m) 'test-shirt' yesterday. It's an 'antique'-striped blue shirt, french cuffs, and high spread-collar. I'm a bit anxious about the degree of spread but can't wait to see the end result. Estimated delivery time: about 4 weeks...
