Has anyone used Custom Men in New York for suits and what has been your experience? I usually buy Zegna or Canali off the rack and was looking for a better fit.

Looks like PointBlank has joined teams with Jenny208. Don't you two have actual tailoring to do instead of generating false PR?

Hahahaha, nice. I'm betting Jenny208 doesn't/can't respond without asking her dad aka owner of Custom Men.

Although maybe we should ask; is custom men any good? Just cuz their PR sucks and seems evil doesn't mean they make bad suits. Im sure satan has nice suits, and his pr is evil. Im ranting here, but it boils down, does anybody know about prices and quality of custom men?

Jenny208's yelp review is very positive. The "independently shot" pictures are not that promising. The spread collar on that shirt looks off.

i have used custom men, along with some other folks i know.

ultimately an "alright" experience. they are very sloppy, and it takes them a long time to do alterations (2 wks for minor stuff)... dont get your shirts monogrammed, whatever you do!

for shirts they are fantastic (x monogram), suits is hit or miss. i have several suits from them that were perfect but 2 of them were big problems... definitely get some shirts form them, try a suit or package if you wish but make sure you have him double check your measurements. they do offer free alterations which is good.

id rather pay the extra money for michael andrews bespoke suit wise.

hope you find this helpful.
