I am looking to have a summer blazer/sportcoat, for those hot and/or humid days in which I need to look well put together ,custom made for me by an acquaintance in Brazil. I figure it is cheaper to get whatever materials I need here in Canada.
My question is, when I go to a fabric/textile provider, what material(s) and in what proportion do you recommend I get for the outer layer and the lining, if any, for the sleeves and body? And how much of the material would be need to yield for the construction of a 40R blazer?
My assumption is that linen or a blend consisting mainly of linen is ideal. Probably in a light grey dye or in a that natural linen colour.
