Has anyone had custom jeans made at the Earnest Cut & Sew (821 Washington St., New York City)? It's pretty cool that you can choose your own selvage denim, design your own pockets, etc. How much did it cost? How was the experience? How long did it take before your jeans were completed? Did you go in for multiple fittings or just one? And most importantly, please show pictures of your custom jeans... thank you.

I was going to do this not too long ago but I realized it wasn't for me. They start at $500 and it takes 2 weeks, however I buy my jeans raw and tight as hell until they stretch out and mold to my body and such. Getting custom jeans is only good for you if you wear your size and wash them regularly and everything so the fit will basically never change. I ended up just dropping a little over $200 on the Kyrres and left with a huge smile on my face. I then squeezed my thighs and junk into them and wore them to bed for three days. Now they are pretty damn custom if you ask me.

Haha that's great! True dedication... Thanks for your answer - it does seem that custom-made jeans may be going a bit too far, because your jeans are definitely personalized!
