I haven't been lucky enough to own a pair, but Ferragamo shoes have a great reputation. At Goldman Sachs, though, if you are a junior worker, and you wear them, people will laugh at you (or so I've heard) - because they're supposed to be worn by upper level staff!

Don't know about today's quality? But my older models are all very good quality.

I have worn tramezza for years and they are wonderful shoes. A bit softer than my English makes but just as solid.

Welcome to Styleforum dtauton. Another possible reason may be the SF members who are buying them are either not frequenting the forum of late or can't be bothered to take photos.

I blame success for the lack of deep discounting that would allow the Limited Editions to get a toehold in the critical SF market.

I have bought Ferragamos in the past, and have had no traction talking about them, or looking for info in this forum.

In the end, I had issues with shanks squeaking, and lasts being particularly slender (aside from lack of material quality in any line under Tramezza).

For what it's worth, plenty of Tramezza models have caught my eye, and their materials and detailing have been quite good.
